The Manager AVS Solutions Planning and Design leads a diverse team of technical staff responsible for researching AV technology, preparing business requirements, designing/prototyping AV solutions, maintaining consistent AV standards, and specifying detailed AV technology solutions for AV projects.

This position is key to building and maintaining strong relationships with clients and within the broader AVS team and has a key role in ensuring AV technology satisfies teaching and learning strategic initiatives. Excellent written communication skills, including the ability to develop reports, proposals and presentations for a variety of audiences is an essential part of this role. 
As the Manager AVS Solutions Planning and Design you will have the following (not limited to) :

Main duties/responsibilities:

• Provide strong strategic and operational leadership to the AVS Solutions Planning and Design team.
• Management of AV Standards, AV Reference Manual and UTS Space Guidelines, Standard Operating Environments, and ensuring all solutions are collaboratively designed and approved by ITD Network, Security and Architecture teams. 
• Foster a work approach characterised by exceptional customer focus, responsiveness, innovation, commitment to excellence, effective team-work and a collaborative approach to problem solving.
• Preparation of new technology solution proposals

Main skills/experience required:

• Considerable experience managing teams in the development of Audio Visual solutions and delivery of AV Services.
• Proven leadership skills with a team delivering in a high workload environment.
• Comprehensive and current knowledge of all aspects of the AV Industry.
• Excellent written communications skills, including the ability to develop reports, briefings and presentations for a variety of audiences.

Remuneration

Base Salary Range: An attractive and competitive remuneration package will be offered based on skills and experience

This role attracts 17% superannuation in addition to the base salary. Employee benefits include flexible work practices, child care centres, generous parental leave and salary packaging opportunities.

This position is full time and appointment will be made on a continuing basis.
