At the School of Humanities and Social Sciences (HASS), we shape the minds that shape Australia, the region and the international community. The School offers undergraduate and postgraduate degree programs in English and Media Studies, History, Indonesian studies, and International and Political studies. About the role
- Academic Level A - $73,297 – $98,127 plus 9.5% Superannuation
- Fixed Term: Until December 2018
- Full-time appointment
This is a rare and exciting opportunity to work directly with Professor Shirley Scott, Head of School HASS, in a research capacity. The successful applicant will assist Professor Scott with research for a monograph on the US era in international law, drawing on her theory of international law as ideology (ILI). The successful applicant may also assist with other projects within the School as required.
About the successful applicant
To be successful in this role you will:
- A PhD degree in the field of International Relations or International Law.
- The ability to conduct high quality research in a University environment.
- A Strong knowledge of both International Relations and International Law.
