Online Education Services (OES) was established to challenge and advance the online education industry, providing a new student-centric approach to adult education. OES creates engaging online learning experiences for students who are not catered for by traditional campus-based offerings. The role
We are welcoming applications from experienced Learning Designers, who have a rich appreciation and understanding of pedagogy and adult learning principles.
You will be responsible for developing effective online learning across various units that reflect best practice, with a keen focus on optimising student learning outcomes.
If you have a teaching background and have worked in a classroom or education setting previously, combined with exposure to creating tertiary education learning material, this will set your application apart.
Key responsibilities
- Design, develop and implement effective and innovative online learning techniques
- Create quality focused learner centred experiences
- Collaborate with stakeholders (internal and external) to create resources and learning activities
- Partner with specialists to create online tools to deliver a best practice online student experience
- Regularly evaluate and analyse online practices and delivery methods
- Contribute to a professional culture and working environment
The must have's
- A tertiary qualification in education is essential
- Some experience creating, evaluating and delivering online content
- A true understanding of Pedagogy
- Experience with technologies and online learning management systems, such as Blackboard
- Ability to adapt contemporary approaches to learner-centred, flexible education
