We are seeking an experience Area Manager to join our management team at Sesame Lane.
We are looking for an amazing employee who will embrace our vision to 'Inspire Learning Early'.
Successful applicants will be/have:
- Be an advocate for children and have an enthusiastic and fun attitude towards their care and education;

Excellent written and oral communication skills with the ability to prepare professional clear and concise reports, briefing documents and high level correspondence.

Demonstrated management experience in a comparable companies or environment including expertise in the provision of operational advice, planning, leadership, financial and resource management.

Strong stakeholder capabilities and the ability to interact successfully with people ranging from Senior Corporate Team, Service Managers, families, children, community members and the government departments.

Strong team leadership capabilities and the ability to engage with Service Managers to provide mentoring, direction, coaching and support to a team of Service Managers.
- Proven track record in managing Services and Managers to achieve meeting and strive to exceeding of National Quality Standards in each Service.
- Expertise, ability and knowledge to manage and facilitate Customer Relationships Management system (CRM), Government Agencies Online Reporting, Story Park (or similar platform), Qikkids and Microsoft Office Suite throughout the Services.
- Work collaboratively within an established team to ensure the best outcomes for children and families;

Academic qualifications are essential for this position, Bachelor in Early Childhood / Education desirable.

Business qualifications, highly desirable.

Minimum five years’ experience in a similar position.

Sesame Lane Child Care has been in operation for over 30 years. Since its inception in 1988 with one Centre catering for 50 children, Sesame Lane has expanded to 13 Centres operating from Redcliffe to Morayfield and catering for approximately 1,500 children each day.
