Full-time, fixed-term appointment for three years.

About Federation College
Federation College (the College), incorporating the Ballarat Tech School and the P-TECH program, provides realistic and interesting options to students who want more choices in their secondary education. The College offers a broad range of youth and pathways programs for students, including programs for student who are at risk of leaving the education system permanently. The College works collaboratively with local employment service providers, high schools, community colleges, health services, other faculties within the University and other community organisations. The College also deliver VET and general education programs at Hopkins Correctional Centre (Ararat) and Langi Kal Kal.

About the position
Reporting to the Executive Director, FedUni TAFE, you will be responsible for the growth and development of Federation College by contributing to strategic planning and providing educational leadership in the implementation and achievement of program/course objectives. The successful applicant will also actively pursue community and commercial opportunities relevant to the College’s ethos. You will lead the College’s Education Managers, ensuring that learning and teaching needs are met through the allocation of financial and human resources and programs/courses comply with the relevant Vocational Education and Training processes, contractual obligations and University policies, procedures and guidelines.

As the successful applicant, you will have demonstrated leadership skills including the capacity to manage, develop, mentor and support staff to achieve successful outcomes for our students. With a demonstrated ability to develop, implement and monitor change and continuous improvement strategies for program/course development and delivery, you will enhance the College, FedUni TAFE and the University’s reputation and capability.

An attractive remuneration package will be offered to the successful applicant.
