Smart Tots Childcare is seeking - Lead Educators and Assistants to be a part of our growing team. Smart Tots Childcare has been opened for just over two years - and is located within the Alexandra Hills Shopping Complex. We are opened from 6.30 am to 6.30 pm Monday to Friday. Smart Tots Childcare is a privately owned with full Management Support.
We are looking to build on our team of highly motivated, professional Educators. Our Educators must be passionate about achieving quality outcomes for children and their families. You must be highly motivated, enthusiastic and have proven Early Childhood skills. If you would like to work in a locally owned and operated childcare centre for owners who value and appreciate their staff, then this is the centre for you!
The Roles –
Early Childhood Educators
We are looking for Lead Educators and Assistants that have sound knowledge and understanding of the National Quality Framework and National Quality Standards.
Lead Educators will also need to have experience with the Early Years Learning Framework, My Time Our Place and the Queensland Kindergarten Guidelines. Previous Early Childhood experience is essential.
Requirements
To be successful in all positions, you will be required to the following:
• ACECQA approved Childcare Qualifications - Diploma of Children's Services or equivalent / Certificate 3 Children's Services or working towards completion of relevant studies.
• Lead Educators must be able to meet current requirements to be approved as a Certified Supervisor and available to be on open and close shifts if required.
• Suitability Card –Blue Card;
• Child protection training: Identifying and responding to children and young people at risk of harm
• Current First Aid, CPR, Asthma and Anaphylaxis Certificates
• Understanding of the National Quality Standards and National Quality Framework
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Knowledge of relevant legislative policies, standards and requirements
