TEACHER AIDE – LEARNING SUPPORT
Full-Time, Term-time, Fixed-term contract
Working under the direction of the class teacher and cooperatively with students, the Teacher Aide- Learning Support will provide timely specialist assistance to students with additional learning and support needs and provide a supportive, well-organised classroom environment in which students are encouraged to achieve to their fullest potential.
This role requires a person who is willing to work with students across the Senior School from Years 7 to 12 with learning support and may include students with verified disabilities or students who have sustained an injury through their co-curricular commitments or otherwise. Applications from candidates with experience in Senior School upper Mathematics A are encouraged to apply.
This role is dependent upon government funding and may cease should the funding cease.
All staff at Churchie are expected to support the philosophies of the School, must either hold or be able to obtain a Blue Card and/or registered with the Queensland College of Teachers.
