Child Care Centre Cook
We are looking for a talented Centre Cook to join the team at our Telford Park Early Learning Centre in Darley to plan and prepare a nutritious and exciting menu for the children.
Responsibilities
- Support the health and wellbeing of the children through planning and preparing nutritious meals and snack
- Prepare meals to meet the needs of children with special dietary requirements and allergies
- Order food supplies in consultation with Service Manager
- Ensure safe and hygienic storage, handling and preparation of food and drinks
- Work as part of a team to create a safe, caring and educational place for children
Who we’re looking for
We’re looking for candidates with the following attributes:
- Someone that is available 30 hours per week, 6 hours per day.
- Experience in a similar role
- Experience with working with dietary requirements and allergies.
- Working with Children's Check
- Creative, and passionate about food and providing high standards of food service
- Positive attitude and ability to thrive under pressure
