- Minimum Diploma level in Early Childhood
- Previous 2IC / Administration experience
- Experience in leadership within the early years or similar
We're looking for a permanent part time Assistant Director/ Educator commencing ASAP in a 37.5 hour a week roster
The Centre:
Our 96 placed service is located in popular suburb of Lenah Valley where we're opened from 6.30 am-6.30 pm Monday - Friday for 52 weeks of the year and closed on public holidays. Our lunch box service currently has 22 passionate educators dedicated to proving engaging learning spaces for children from 6 weeks- 5 years of age.
Applicant Must Obtain:
- A Diploma Level in Early Education and Care
- Previous 2IC/ Administration experience
- Experience in Leadership within the Early years setting or simliar
- Current working with children card
- Current First Aid
Your Role:
- Prior knowledge of the National Quality Framework and the Early Years Learning Framework
- Support the Centre Director in the leadership of the team to provide high quality of learning and care
- Responsible for the overall management of the centre in the centre Directors absence
- Build respectful and reciprocal relationships with the children and their families
- Caring and Educating children of the centre
