About the role

We are looking for a full time, fixed term (parental leave cover) Finance Business Partner (Accountant) to work collaboratively with our managers and leaders to ensure we have reliable financial information, communicated in a meaningful way, to support achievement of our purpose.  Working in a small team in a medium-sized organisation means that this is a true generalist role including accounting, management reporting, business partnering, statutory reporting and continuous improvement.

For this role, we also expect you will have:

• CPA membership or equivalent
• SAP (Business One) experience
• Worked in an environment where you are comfortable working with tight financial constraints and business models with a moderate degree of complexity (experience in an RTO environment, Early Childhood Education setting or organisations subject to government funding will be well regarded)
• Good communication skills – you understand the numbers, the why behind the numbers and where they come from.  You can share this understanding in a meaningful way with non-financial managers
• Well-developed analytical skills and an ability to translate this analysis to support organisational decision-making
• The ability to work in a team and the flexibility and tenacity required to ensure success in a medium-sized organisation
• Process improvement experience.
