The Lookout Early Education Centre is seeking an Early Childhood Teacher or Diploma educator for our Preschool room. This role will potentially move into Room Leader role for the right candidate. The successful candidate should have a genuine passion for teaching and enjoy working with children in the early years.

We are situated in Headland Park, Mosman in a beautiful and tranquil setting and operate 51 weeks a year, 7:30 - 6:00.
The Lookout is a private, family owned and operated service. The owners value the commitment and professionalism of the team and are regularly at the centre to meet with management and the team.
We provide care for children from birth to 5 years. The service strives to offer a warm nurturing atmosphere and encourages educators to work in partnership with the families.
Essential Criteria
- An ACECQA approved Early Childhood qualification
- ECT preferred or Diploma studying ECT with finish date end of 2018
- A Working With Children Check
- Applicable Teacher registration if an ECT
- A strong understanding of the NQF & EYLF as well as the NQS
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Previous experience as a Room Leader
Skills and Experience
- Proactive in planning and implementing the program
- Experience with a range of ages desirable
- Demonstrated ability to liaise with educators and parents to implement programs
- Commitment towards the centre's goals and philosophy
- Be achievement focused and committed to working with a cohesive and friendly team
- Be willing to take on the role of Responsible Person/Certified Supervisor
- Current First Aid Certificate with Anaphylaxis & Asthma (or willingness to obtain within 3 months)
Must have the right to live and work in Australia
