The Extension Centre provides a wide range of courses that cater for the needs of children, regardless of the school they attend, who require support at any level – from remediation to extension.
About the Roles
- to support the education of children allocated to the Tutor's care
- as a mentor, to apply skills and knowledge to the benefit of the student
- to ensure students learn skills and knowledge commensurate with their age/year level, ability and subject area
- to be accountable through the provision of written and verbal feedback as required
- to maintain appropriate student records
- salary - $55.00 to $80.00 per hour depending on qualifications and experience
Areas of need - appropriate qualifications required
- Primary School - qualified teacher
- Secondary Mathematics - including Standard, Advanced and Extension 1
- Secondary English - including Standard, Advanced, and Extension 1
The successful applicants must provide a Working With Children Clearance Number and date of birth before employment can commence.
