About the business
Mothercraft is a vibrant popular not for profit Childcare Centre in Toowoomba, with over 60 years in operation. Our Centre has a Parent Committee and we are passionate about providing high quality education and care to all families.
About the role
Our Kindergarten Teacher will deliver a high quality child and family focused curriculum in line with the QKLG. The successful applicant will work a 38 hour week with non-contact curriculum planning time and network with the schools in the area to provide a smooth transition to Prep.

Skills and experience
The successful applicant would meet the following Selection Criteria:
- A Bachelor of Teaching/Education in Early Childhood or an ACECQA approved equivalent qualification
- A current Working with Children Check
- Current first aid, asthma and anaphylaxis training
- An understanding of the National Regulations, National Quality Framework, Queensland Kindergarten Learning Guidelines and Early Years Learning Framework
- An ability to plan, implement and deliver a high quality, stimulating, and developmentally appropriate program for children of all ages, guided by the Queensland Kindergarten Learning Guidelines and the Early Years Learning Framework
- Strong written and verbal communication skills to work collaboratively and productively with staff, families and children.
