The role

The role is full-time and a 6 month contract until the end of the year. To be considered you must have a minimum bachelor level qualification and 2 years' minimum work experience within a telephone support based role. A degree in Social Work, Coaching or Psychology is valuable but not essential.

As part of the student coaching team, you can expect to have practical, solutions based conversations aimed at supporting students through their studies. We are looking for passionate, proactive, empathetic and resourceful team members capable of facilitating a measurable difference in student retention and engagement. The role requires you to make outbound calls to students, so you must enjoy interacting and building rapport on the phone.

Shifts: Please note that shift times are; 10am-6pm, 11am-7pm and 12noon-8pm.

To be successful for this position, you must have:

  • Minimum bachelor level degree is essential
  • Experience in a coaching or support role within a call centre or telephone support setting is essential
  • A coaching accreditation is desirable but not essential
  • An interest in the fundamentals of positive psychology
  • Experience in brief solution focused or strengths based therapies would be an advantage not essential
  • A passion to maximise employee & student engagement
  • The demonstrated ability to build relationships, support & provide feedback
  • A true commitment to exemplary customer service
  • Excellent interpersonal & written communication skills
  • Demonstrated high-level computer literacy
