SELC Career College Australia is a Registered Training Organisation with 2 campuses, located in the Sydney CBD and Bondi Junction.

We are looking to hire a new Assistant Business Coordinator as one of two assistant coordinators that provide strategic support to the VET Business Department at SELC College. They provide expert support, ensure  proactive and innovative improvement, and maintain a focus on high-quality service provision.This is an exciting opportunity to make a difference to our developing Business department which is already thriving and growing at an impressive rate!


Responsibilities 

  • Assist with maintaining the RTO’s compliance standards to a high and practical level across the business.
  • Assist with the process of assessment reviews, quality of completed training assessments and evidence to ensure it meets the training package and in accordance to our audit requirements and standards for NVR Registered Training Organisations.
  • Manage and co-ordinate reporting requirements with Australian Skills Quality Authority (ASQA) and other relevant regulatory bodies to ensure there is a distinct linkage. 
  • Develop and maintain effective student record management systems, which ensure confidentiality of program participants and meet the requirements of the regulatory framework standards.
  • Provide administrative and leadership support to Coordinator and Academic Staff.
  • Work closely with the Coordinator in terms of customising assessments, validating qualifications and dealing with trainers on a daily basis.

 

Essential Criteria 

  • Certificate IV in Training and Assessment
  • Previous experience working within adult education and/or for an RTO
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills and attention to detail 
  • Sound administrative experience within an RTO including internal LMS and CRMS
  • A proven track record of full compliance within an RTO that includes internal and external audit experience (desirable)
