About the Role
We are seeking to appoint an Engagement Officer, this exciting new role is due to the recent development of engagement activities undertaken by the Faculty. This is a part time position, working 3 days a week (or equivalent hours spread over the working week)

Reporting to the Associate Dean of International and Engagement, you will be responsible for various projects and ongoing tasks associate with developing the engagement portfolio, with a focus on managing and developing international partnerships, industry opportunities and cultural connections for the Faculty as a whole. This role is important to the development, promotion and support of the Faculty's engagement profile including advancement, development and international, in a highly competitive and diverse environment.

About You
You will have a strong client focus, solid organisational and time management skills and have the ability to work independently and cooperatively as part of a small, cohesive team.

You will also bring to this role:
• Experience with engagement processes and practices relevant to local and international contexts, preferably in a higher education setting and experience in the implementation of engagement programs and events
• Experience working with a variety of external stakeholders (community, corporate and/or public) with an engagement or stakeholder engagement focus
• Demonstrated knowledge of community sector and social issues in City of Sydney jurisdiction as well as more broadly
• Tertiary qualification in marketing and communications, engagement or discipline areas of the Faculty
• Experience managing and stewarding a broad range of stakeholders, and maintaining reporting systems

Remuneration

Base Salary Range: $68,290 to $78,125 pa (HEW 5) pro rata

This role attracts 17% superannuation in addition to the base salary.

This position is part-time (0.6FTE) and appointment will be made on a continuing basis.
