ABOUT THE ROLE
Reporting to the Human Resources and Recruitment Manager, you will be responsible for the coordination of all learning and development and activities for Surfside Buslines, including end to end recruitment. Specifically, you will be responsible for;
- Developing, designing and implementation of all Surfside Buslines learning and development material, including the induction and orientation for all new recruits
- Streamlining and maintaining the training records management system and ensuring they are accurate and up to date at all times
- Coordinate the end to end recruitment and selection processes and related activities for Surfside Buslines including the development of job descriptions, ad preparation, shortlisting and licence and authority checks
- Monitor, report and implementation of best practise of strategies for Driver retention
ABOUT YOU
- Certificate IV in Training and Assessment
- Medium Rigid license (minimum)
- Demonstrated experience in creating and delivering a highly successful recruitment and selection program
- Three years (minimum) experience as a Trainer
- Demonstrated ability to facilitate targeted training to a wide demographic of people, and experience in creating training content and supporting resources
- Valid Working with Children Check, or willingness to obtain one
- Certificate III in Driving Operations (Bus) highly desirable, or willingness to obtain one
- Excellent computer literacy - Microsoft suite, as well as ability to learn in-house packages
- Sound knowledge of Queensland licensing regulations and the Queensland Passenger Transport Act (and NSW equivalent as appropriate), or willingness to obtain knowledge
