Are you looking for a change from your current position or looking to move away from teaching, this position is for a Qualified Child Care Educator or Teacher looking to expand their skills and be part of a great team within a fantastic boys school.
We are currently looking for a Coordinator/Nominated Supervisor to manage our After Care Centre in Rose Bay in the eastern suburbs.
The centre is open for After School Care each day in a great school close to transport and shops.
This is a fabulous opportunity to further develop your existing skills and expand on your management skills.
Additional hours can be offered in another one of our centres close by.
You will be required to manage the day to day operations of the centres including the following:
- ensure that all regulations,policies and procedures within the centre are followed
- manage time-sheets and staff supervision
- plan an interest based program-inclusive of staff, children and parents
- maintain high quality care for children,staff and parents as directed by the Quality Assurance System
- Communicate effectively with families and school staff through newsletters, memos etc
- manage the resources and food provisions
- create and implement an interest based program for our Vacation Care Program.
Hours: 32hours per week (includes both face to face care with the children as well as administration time for planning and preparation)
You will need to have 2-5 yrs experience in child care with either a Certificate III,a Diploma or Bachelor of Teaching.
You will also be required to have a current First Aid Certificate including Asthma & Anaphylaxis, Certificate in Food Handling and Child Protection.
If you do not have these you will have the opportunity to acquire them in the first 3 months of employment.
Experience in a child care setting or primary school is essential.
