Area Manager

Mindchamps runs a number of reputable early childcare centers in Sydney. The Company is focused on creative and quality care and education for the champs. This is a great opportunity for an experienced early childhood professional to further develop your career with a growing company in the industry.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborating with HQ Singapore and local senior management while taking an active role in determining overall company service and development strategies
• Lead and support service delivery, including implementation of new services, to promote integrated approaches and to achieve quality outcomes and objectives aligned with MindChamps strategy, priorities and values
• Apply effective communication and leadership strategies to engage staff, and work collaboratively to support and inspire a shared sense of purpose and to deliver outcomes for children and families
• Manage service performance to drive continuous improvement
• Mentor center managers and their teams, supervise direct reports and provide guidance and development of professional expertise of staff
• Manage and support services to meet compliance obligations through developing knowledge and skills in understanding relevant legislation, regulations, MindChamps policies, procedures and guidelines
• Performing any other duties which may be assigned from time to time

Requirements:

• Bachelor of Early Childhood qualifications and /or other qualification in education, management, business field
• Demonstrated experience managing, mentoring and supporting early childhood education and care services/programs to deliver high quality outcomes, and in building a capable and engaged workforce
• Demonstrated experience supporting performance and delivering good results in early childhood education and care services in a competitive environment
• Good understanding of the QikKids, CCMS programs and a proven track record in the management of budgets, rosters and policies
• Practical understanding of key issues, strategies and best practice in early childhood education, child health, wellbeing and inclusion, early childhood curricula and development frameworks
• Highly developed interpersonal skills and the ability to facilitate across team collaboration and cooperation to achieve best practice outcomes in child wellbeing and inclusion 
• Be familiar with the National Quality Standard and National Regulations framework
• Current first aid/CPR including asthma and anaphylaxis certificates
