Based at our Docklands Campus - Full Time Fixed Term Teacher Position
The Organisation
Bendigo Kangan Institute is the merged entity of Bendigo TAFE and Kangan Institute. Our purpose is to change the lives of individuals, industry and communities through delivering innovative vocational training that facilitates real employment outcomes. With 10 campuses across Melbourne, Bendigo, Castlemaine and Echuca, we are one of Victoria's largest vocational training organisations.
We are currently seeking one sessional Automotive teacher with expertise in Heavy Vehicles and/or Light Vehicles to join our team at the ACE Docklands campus.
Key Selection Criteria
*Minimum qualification - Certificate IV in Training & Assessment (TAE40104)
*An appropriate qualification (Degree, Diploma or Certificate) within the Automotive industry with substantial demonstrated industry experience;
*Diploma of VET Practice or other approved teacher training qualification which includes supervised teaching practice and studies in teaching methodology or equivalent (or willingness to undertake and complete within the next 18 months);
*Satisfactory ongoing Victorian Police Check and/or a Working with Children's Check;
*Current Australian driver's licence
*First Aid Certificate Level 2
