The Melbourne Graduate School of Education (MGSE) is currently seeking a dynamic individual to fill a vacant Curriculum Support Officer position in the Curriculum and Admissions team. The Curriculum Support Officer will provide support to MGSE professional and academic staff in areas of course administration for MGSE’s coursework programs, with a focus on ensuring the timely development and administration of course and subject changes and related administrative processes.
As the successful candidate for the Curriculum Support Officer position, you will:
- Maintain a level of expertise and access to the university’s student system and related systems to ensure a local level of expertise in maintained, working in line with the requirements of the Melbourne Operating Model and with the responsibilities assigned to colleagues in University Services, Academic Services;
- Provide support to academic and professional colleagues across MGSE in ensuring the accuracy and rigour of MGSE’s course, subject and student information as officially recorded in the university’s student system, and ensuring corrective action is undertaken where required and in line with university procedures;
- Provide executive support to MGSE specific committees and meetings, including the MGSE Academic Programs Sub-committee, and will coordinate the academic approvals process for subject and course proposals; and
- Enable the delivery of strategic initiatives and priorities for MGSE’s coursework programs as required.
