Italian Teacher – 3-12 year olds

There is an opportunity for an energetic and passionate Italian Teacher to join the team at Melbourne Montessori School. You will teach children aged 3-12 years old at our Caulfield and Brighton Campuses.   The role is for three days per week (Mondays, Wednesdays and Thursdays) and is 0.47 FTE.  You will offer a planned approach and be able to guide and direct the children's learning of language in a prepared environment that challenges each child to reach his or her fullest potential in accordance with the Montessori philosophy.

• A provider of quality education using Montessori pedagogy
• A vibrant school community, approximately 400 students and 50 staff across two campuses

You are:

• Positive in approach to teaching Italian in composite classes
• Experienced with planning and carrying out activities relating to learning language
• Able to demonstrate the ability to work as part of a team
• Qualified LOTE Teacher with VIT
• Experienced working with early childhood and primary school aged students
• Passionate about providing quality learning
• Experienced with behaviour management
• Energetic and have excellent verbal and written communication skills
