The Research School of Computer Science is seeking a highly motivated School Manager to Provide strategic support to the Director, whist playing a key role in the Research School’s Executive Committee, including the development, implementation and monitoring of strategic and operational plans and data collection, analysis and reporting, producing strategic reports and briefing papers on key issues and leading local consultation processes, where needed.  

In the role of School Manager you will work closely with the College Finance team on financial management and planning including; budgeting, monitoring expenditure and resource allocation by analysing the Research School's requirements and strategic priorities. You will lead and manage the School’s administrative team providing; coaching, mentoring, skill and career development, feedback and performance management, where required.

As the School Manager you will play a key leadership role in identifying and realising new engagement, development and promotional opportunities to support the Research Schools’ strategic objectives and promote the Research School’s interests and linkages with government and industry through close collaboration with the College Business Development unit, the University and external agencies. Work closely with the College Marketing and Student Recruitment team to develop and implement appropriate promotional and outreach strategies, including on new media.
