Randstad Education are seeking a highly motivated and professional Centre Director to join the team for a beautiful 33 place After School Care centre located in the Belconnen Area. This is a wonderful Not for Profit centre that caters to children from preschool to year six and offers them a taste of big school through indoor and outdoor activities of their choice in a large green space. The successful candidate will be tasked with supporting a holistic approach to their care and well being, strive for the highest quality of education whilst specifically inspiring the children to investigate, create and explore their environment.

The successful candidate will be a highly motivated leader in the Early Childhood Industry with previous experience in a similar role working at a high performing Before and After School Care centre. You will be required to lead an experienced team in reaching the highest quality care and education for all children and families. You will also have a strong drive to excel in all areas of the EYLF and NQS frameworks and be able to use this knowledge to develop, design and implement educational programs.

Qualifications and Education Requirements:

• Degree or Diploma in Early Childhood Education
• First Aid Certificate
• Working with Vulnerable Peoples Check
• Relevant Experience
  
  

Preferred Experience, Skills and Knowledge

• Experience as a Before and After School Care Centre Director
• Excellent interpersonal, organisational and time management skills with attention to detail
• Demonstrated initiative and being able to work independently and as part of a team
• Sound knowledge of the Early Years Learning Framework and National Quality Standards
