Do you love all things learning and development? Does developing an entirely new online learning program excite you? Knosys is a Melbourne-based Knowledge Management software company and we are looking for someone who lives and breathes learning and instructional design to assist us in developing a set of online training courses for our KnowledgeIQ platform. 


Knosys is looking for a proactive and enthusiastic Learning and Instructional Design Specialist on a contract basis for a three (3) month initial term. Your job will be to help us evaluate and select a technology platform on which to base our online training, and then work with our team to design the course outlines and the courses themselves.

What will you be doing?

  • Understanding Knosys’ requirements for an online training platform and evaluating and assisting with the selection of such a platform. Evaluating Knosys’ current training programs to serve as a basis for development of online training programs
  • Developing course outlines and programs to allow Knosys to provide online training to end users of our software platform
  • Developing e-Learning courses (including courseware and assessments) 
  • Creating quality-focused dynamic learner-centric experiences
  • Working with internal and external staff and stakeholders to ensure that the learner experience fits within Knosys’ branding and messaging guidelines

To really rock this roll, you will be:

Our ideal candidate must be self-motivated with a passion for everything digital. You should feel comfortable in the dynamic atmosphere of a technical organisation with a rapidly expanding customer base.

  • Ideally, you have a Bachelor’s Degree in Education, but it’s ok if you don’t, and have a couple of years’ experience instead
  • You’ve worked across a variety of LMS platforms and have experience developing eLearning materials 
  • You’re across eLearning and web development standards such as SCORM, xAPI and WCAG
  • You’re good with people, and can interact with our stakeholders and potential customers about what’s important to them in online training
  • Because you love this stuff so much, you stay on top of the latest trends and challenges in learning and development, and can keep the rest of us abreast of these things too
  • You love creating storyboard and modules for eLearning that Captivate, Evolve and Articulate 
  • You love working in a dynamic team environment but you’re also able to get things done independently 
  • You are highly organised with strong attention to detail, critical thinking skills and the ability to accurately analyse information and make sound decisions
