WesTrac has an opportunity for energetic and results driven Technical Trainers to join our growing Technology training team.

In conjunction with Caterpillar, we offer local and international training opportunities to ensure you are ready to take on this important challenge. This customised training and support will accelerate your learning and competency, ensuring we can better serve our customers, and together help us deliver on our vision. 

As a Technical Trainer you will contribute to the continuous improvement of course curriculum and deliver material in accordance with workplace safety and compliance standards. You will be able to educate a broad range of employees as well as external customers. 

You will be required to travel to various sites to deliver training on a 8 days on 6 days off roster, with plans to transition to a Perth based role after the initial 12 months from commencement.     

Why is this role right for you?

To be successful in this role, you will have had previous experience on heavy machinery or exposure to Caterpillar products. Your experience has been gained preferably within the mining or construction industry with exposure to on-board software & hardware systems. Previous experience training, facilitating workshops, mentoring groups is desirable. You must have a strong customer service ethic, with the ability to influence and inspire groups of people with a passion for transferring knowledge and skills.

You will possess a professional and proactive approach to your work. As a strong communicator and influencer you will have the ability to work effectively with all levels of the business and will be adept in ensuring customer satisfaction during the learning experience.
