SALARY RANGE: $67,562 to $90,827 pa pro rata (plus 17% super)
EMPLOYMENT TYPE: Part-time (0.5 EFT) and fixed term to 30 June 2020
LOCATION: Geelong Waterfront Campus
ABOUT THE ROLE
The Associate Research Fellow is expected to contribute towards the research effort of the University and develop your research expertise through the pursuit of defined research projects relevant to the particular field of research.
This will include:
- Initiating and conducting research under limited supervision either as a member of a team, or independently, to achieve the objectives of the Teachers Health funded project.
- Contributing to building an active research record, preparing findings for oral and written communications including publications and the generation of external research income.
- Effectively producing data, maintaining data protocols and entering data into relevant databases.
- Constructively contributing to a vibrant research team, including participating with colleagues in developing and maintaining links and partnerships with industry and the wider community.
ABOUT YOU
- Honours or higher level degree in public health, health promotion, epidemiology or a related area, with a substantial research component.
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively as a member of an interdisciplinary team.
- Demonstrated ability to plan and conduct high quality research.
- Demonstrated organisational skills including the demonstrated ability to maintain a high standard of laboratory and data record keeping and a demonstrated ability to meet competing deadlines.
