One Tree Community Services is currently on the lookout for a born leader to join our Wickham Children’s Service in WA! We are looking for a talented and passionate leader with solid experience in managing and directing a Child Care Centre. This is an exciting opportunity for you to join the One Tree team and help and support your team as they move into a BRAND NEW purpose built and modern Child Care Centre in Wickham, WA. This new Child Care Centre offers large spacious rooms with a light and homely feel.  This will be a unique opportunity for you to come on a journey with us and make your mark in our Reggio Emilia inspired Child Care Service, making a positive impact on the local community.
 
One Tree Community Services is a not-for-profit organization that supports community services and child care centres throughout Western Australia, the Northern Territory and Victoria.
 
About Wickham:
Wickham is a fascinating and historical town which boasts beautiful beaches and great fishing spots. It is located 49kms from City of Karratha, WA. Karratha is the main administration centre for many business and government departments in the Pilbara region. It offers a large shopping centre, 2 supermarkets, specialty and boutique stores. There are plenty of sporting clubs and associations to join as well. Karratha offers great fishing, snorkeling and diving with plenty of beautiful beaches to enjoy.
 
 
On Offer to you:

• Up to $71,350.50 (depending on experience)
• Housing/ Housing Allowance to be discussed at interview
• 6 weeks paid annual leave per year
• Subsidized Childcare
• Above Award Allowance

About you:
If you are an experienced Leader/ Director and are looking for a new challenge in your career please send in your resume identifying that you have experience in:

• Managing a team with the objective of supporting the service to exceed national quality standards.
• Human Resources: Leading people and manage human resources effectively and efficiently.
• Partnerships: Working with families, staff and the community to support an integrated service.
• Quality: Overseeing continuous improvement and positioning the service to get the best possible outcomes including rating as exceeding the National Quality Standards in Australia.
• Financial Management: Keeping the service on budget.
• Professional Development: Supporting the development of staff including workplace training and assessment of trainees.
• Risk Management: Managing risks within the service, ensuring compliance and all legislative and regulatory requirements are met. Ensuring the service adheres to organizational policies and procedures.
• Education and Care: Provide guidance and mentoring to staff in best practice working with children and be an advocate for children. In smaller services directors will be required to work with children directly as a part of the roster.
