Centre Manager for a new Children's Educational Play Centre

First of its kind in Australia NUBO, meaning cloud, has created a whole new world of educational play environments to encourage families to play, explore, connect, grow and learn together.

NUBO Chatswood is a brand-new educational play centre for members that will be available for stay and play sessions and soon to start casual child-minding sessions. Located in Chatswood Chase, NUBO Chatswood is the second NUBO centre in Sydney with the first one in Alexandria. 

Position Overview

Our current Centre Manager is relocating countries, so we are looking for a motivated and experienced Centre Manager to take operational and financial responsibility for this growing educational play centre. 

The Centre Manager will take responsibility for the successful management of day to day operations, with a strong focus on the operational performance of the team; creating and retaining a happy and committed team and leading them in delivering high quality educational play services that promote Children’s development and wellbeing. 

Being two months into its operations, new business development, identifying and securing new members to increase sales, and client retention will play a large part of this role.

This role requires a driven individual who has previous success of working within the education sector.

Responsibilities

·         Build a positive inspiring team culture to increase staff performance 

·         Develop and drive new business strategies to increase sales  

·         Manage budgets and exceed targets

·         Manage the day to day running of the business 

·         Promote the NUBO brand internally and externally amongst colleagues, customers and industry network

Requirements

·         Strong people leadership and team management experience: hire, train, retain, manage, coach and develop talent

·         Demonstrated experience within an Early Childhood Education or Primary School setting

·         Strong Commercial acumen

·         Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written

·         Positive attitude and ability to work in a changing environment

·         2-3 years' experience as a Centre Manager

·       Supervisor Certificate, or necessary qualifications/experience to enable you to apply for a Supervisor Certificate

We are looking for an immediate start, this is a full time role reporting to the Managing Director and CEO. We are open 7 days a week and looking for someone who is flexible working on weekends once a month. The successful candidate must have experience of working within the education sector with a minimum of 2 years in a senior position.
