About the role
AWX is currently seeking experienced Production Batching Food Workers. You will have experience working within a busy manufacturing environment, you will need to be able to pre-weigh ingredients, have batching experience, a keen eye for traceability and checking of ingredients and measurements. These opportunities will be for Day Shift and Afternoon Shift, Monday to Friday, so you MUST be available and flexible to work across all of these days and times.
Successful candidates must possess the following personal and professional attributes:
- Mixing, batching and pre-weighing of ingredients;
- Ability to read and follow work procedures and recipes;
- Ensure that products and batch changes are correctly managed and authorised;
- Meet agreed productivity and waste reduction targets;
- High attention to detail;
- Be prepared to do repetitive tasks;
- Be flexible with different job roles;
- Have a strong safety and quality focus; and
- Have a current driver’s license and access to or own reliable transport.
What we are looking for:
- Minimum 1 years' experience working within a similar position within the Food/Beverage manufacturing industry;
- Previous experience in operating mixing equipment;
- Must be reliable, punctual and fully available to work day and afternoon shifts Monday - Friday each week; and
- Must be able to understand, read and write English
