About the Opportunity

We seek and experienced Storeperson to coordinate procurement, ordering, warehousing and distribution of stock, components and factory supplies into and from our Clayton South branch, Canterbury Timber Windows and Doors.  You will be working in a large factory environment with a supportive management team. 

The key responsibility of the role is to ensure the management of stock being receipted into and issued from the warehouse and delivered promptly and on time to the customer, (internal or external customers).  It is important that stock figures are accurately maintained and recorded, and company processes are followed.  Your key objectives will be to:

• Ensure all actions taken support and commit to the Safety, Health & Environmental System

• Meet Core and “Personal Feedback Tool” targets and objectives 

• Ensure supplier product is received into the site, entered/scanned into the ERP Purchasing system and into the ERP stores location

• Pack, ERP transfer, and deliver to the designated locations all customer and/or Factory orders as per paperwork requirements on time and in full quantity as requested. Report any shorts according to company processes.

• Unload trucks and check delivery accuracy.

• Relocate stock as required

• Create shipping labels for dispatch deliveries for purchase product and issue/label as instructed by the relevant process.

• At all times ensure all stock movements are recorded accurately into the ERP system and the correct company paperwork is used

• Maintain an accurate stock level by the use of cycle counting and also communicating any stock variations or abnormalities to the purchasing officer

•  Liaise with Purchasing, Operations, and Despatch regularly to ensure accurate stock figures, on time deliveries and full orders.

• Assist in achieving a 100% DIFOT 

• Other duties as required or requested consistent with the scope of the role

A forklift license is essential.
