Our client, having been in operation for well over 20 years in Australia and 60 years worldwide, now are a leader in the provision of industrial equipment and accessories to a range of different sectors such as; mining, road & passenger transport, agriculture, construction, earthmoving, marine and office / corporate environments.
Based out of our clients Mackay premises, our client are looking for a multi-skilled Warehouse Operator, able to coordinate logistics and assembly in the Warehouse, and also interact with customers on a daily basis. Previous relevant warehouse, sales and/or customer service experience required to take on this role.
The Role:
In the role of Warehouse Operator your main duties and responsibilities will include:
- Coordinate warehouse operations
- Accurate receival of deliveries from suppliers
- Preparation of goods to be despatched
- Be fully involved in the production process
- Use of forklift / materials handling equipment to arrange stock
- Full involvement in housekeeping duties based around the site
- Analysis of customer orders both via email and phone
- Accurately interpret customer orders
- Ensure timely feedback to customer around orders placed together with ETA updates
- High level of customer service to clients on a daily basis
The Candidate:
In order to be considered for this role it will be expected that you will possess:
- Previous warehousing experience
- Forklift license
- High level of customer service
- Flexibility and preparedness to take on a wide variety of tasks with a high level of enthusiasm and passion
