We are a family business, owned and operated by the Collins family since 1965. With our head office based in Adelaide, we have expanded our operations with permanent warehouse facilities in Sydney and Melbourne.

We are currently looking to expanding our Melbourne team with a Local Fleet Allocator, supervising a fleet of local trucks, delivering and picking up customer freights, to ensure efficient completion of jobs in accordance with CoR safety standards, customer expectations and performance targets.

Key duties performed by this role include:

• Allocate and assign driver runs to meet customer requirements and KPIs
• Liaise with drivers, customers and vendors to ensure timely deliveries and pick-ups
• Providing support to the administrative team to ensure all relevant paperwork compliance
• Monitor cost-efficiency and on-time performance
• Assist with incident reporting and investigation of any safety and compliance incidents and ensure appropriate corrective actions are implemented to monitor and resolve issues

To be successful for this position you must be able to demonstrate and meet the following criteria:

• Demonstrated industry experience in transport, logistics or supply chain operations with experience in freight allocation (preferably refrigerated transport);
• Good knowledge of Melbourne metro area;
• Effective communication skills (written and verbal)
• High-level of interpersonal skills, including the ability to clarify, resolve and mediate conflict, time manage and make decisions within a high volume deadline driven environment
• Availability to work weekends and early start during the week
• Australian citizenship or Permanent Residency with unrestricted working rights
