About the Opportunity
We seek to recruit an experienced Sanitation Team Member to join our night shift team to undertake routine cleaning activities to meet HACCP, GMP and BRC standards to ensure the site is Audit Ready at all times. The shift pattern commences Monday evening at 11:00pm with last shift commencing Friday evening at 10:00PM and finishing at 6:06 AM Saturday morning.
In this role you will be responsible for:
- Following daily, weekly and monthly cleaning tasks
- Recording of tasks on the department check list sheets
- Applying established cleaning and housekeeping procedures and take initiative in this area.
- Accurate record keeping to track chemical inventory and sanitation supplies
- Effective management of urgent situations
- Perform other tasks that may be required within and outside the Sanitation team i.e. relieve other positions within the production team
Skills and Experience
- Previous industrial cleaning experience is desirable
- Demonstrated experience in adhering to good manufacturing practices, HACCP, OH&S and Quality standards
- Ability to work effectively within a team environment
- Experience with Scissor Lift and working with heights is desirable
- Apply established cleaning and housekeeping procedures
- Proactive, show initiative and be self-driven
- Strong work ethic
- Reliable and committed with a “can do” attitude
- Be physically fit with an ability to perform the inherent position requirements
- Strong attention to detail
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Flexibility to perform a variety of duties and to work overtime if required
- Be open to training to competency in all areas of the department
