Sydney Sideloaders is a Sea Freight logistics company based in the Port Botany Precinct. We are an innovative company always striving to provide our clients with a competitive advantage.
Currently we are seeking to employ a cartage coordinator who is experienced in the container transport industry. The successful applicant will be an integral part of the transport office functions.
To be successful in this position the ideal candidate's responsibilities will include:
- Accurate recording of jobs in the Transport Management Systems;
- Remain up-to-date with vessel scheduling;
- Coordinate with Clients on delivery schedules;
- Ensuring all relevant directions from AQIS and ABF are strictly followed;
- Notify customers of any potential delays to minimise impact on their business;
- Actively monitoring safe and compliant loads
To be successful in this position you will require the following skills/experience:
- Working knowledge of 1-Stop, Containerchain and other related booking systems is essenbtial
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with Drivers
- Good attitude and willingness to learn company systems
- Strong customer service focus and building effective relationships
- Well organized and excellent attention to detail
- Knowledge of the Sydney Metropolitan area is desirable
- Excellent verbal and written communications skills
