About the company
Due to sustained growth, an opportunity for an experienced Assembler has become available in the South-Eastern Suburbs. This manufacturer of custom products is seeking someone who can show attention to detail and produce quality work. This position is within their body building department therefore experience in this industry is highly advantageous.
About the role
The successful candidate will initially join the team as an on-hired employee, working 38 hours per week Monday-Thursday, 7am-3:30pm and Friday 7am-1pm. The opportunity to move into a permanent role after a 3-6-month successful probationary period exists. Once in a permanent role, this person may have the potential to move onto afternoon shift if desired.
Duties
- Using hand and power tools
- Cutting materials and assembling
- Reading from drawings
- Lifting up to 15kgs as required
Skills and experience
- Experience using hand and power tools
- LF licence (advantageous)
- Welding experience ideal
- Experience in truck body building - highly desirable
