Due to operational changes, we are seeking a motivated and experienced individual to supervise our goods inwards team and help maximize stock integrity. This is a full time, highly autonomous role with an immediate start. Start times vary and between 7.00am, 7.30am & 8.30am.
Responsibilities include:
- Liaison with international shipping team and freight forwarders to ensure timely arrival and receipt of correct / complete documentation
- Check quality, reconcile quantities and receipt inbound purchase orders into WMS
- Coordinate put away of inbound inventory to preferred pick face or bulk storage locations
- Supervising the e-commerce returns process and ensuring they are completed in a timely manner
- Ensuring all deliveries/ goods inwards are dispersed to their relevant departments within the warehouse in a timely manner
- Planning the general layout of the warehouse, particularly at change-over of seasons and ensuring all high-velocity stock (sales) are positioned in the most strategic location within the warehouse
- Manage and maintain bulk storage
- Coordinate automated letdown / pick face replenishment process with forklift drivers
- Investigate, record and report inventory discrepancies
- Coordinating regular cycle counts
- Directly responsible for supervising all goods inwards staff and forklift drivers
What we're looking for:
- Previous experience in warehousing - preferably with a supervisory, goods inwards and/or inventory control background.
- Good time management skills
- "Hands on" with the ability to work accurately and quickly under pressure
- Ability to meet KPIs
- Proactive self-starter with initiative to work independently and as part of a team
- Constantly identifying and implementing process improvements
- Excellent computer skills
- Can do attitude
- Physically fit
- Apparel 21 knowledge advantageous but not essential
- Forklift license very advantageous but not essential.
