A position is currently available for an experienced, self-motivator who can alleviate the day to day pressures of co-ordinating the installations of our products – shower screens and wardrobes, whilst providing a clear flow of information between the Operation, Customers and the Installers.  This role based at our Geelong premises reports through to the Logistics Manager based at our manufacturing plant based in Melbourne.

Due to the nature of this role customer service must be at the forefront of every interaction with the ability to calmly deal with all customers and up to 15 sub-contractors.

The key duties of the role are as listed, but not limited to:

• Scheduling & routing of jobs to ensure each Installer has their jobs allocated in advance
• Assist the Installers as required to make their day run as smoothly as possible
• Liaise with both customer & installers enquiries via phone and email about job status and resolve any issues as they arise as you will be the key contact point for the customer
• Follow up with Installers to ensure that all parts of the paperwork trail are complete, compliant and updated in the system
• Complete and update installation schedule & ensure that at the end of each day you are across all job statuses ready for the next day
• Be passionate about this role, becoming a subject matter expert on technical product knowledge and installations methods.
• Ad hoc duties as required

This is a very hand on role and the successful candidate will demonstrate strong leadership, solid problem solving skills, with a high technical capability, together with the following:

• Demonstrated experience in a similar role where you have scheduled/routed jobs for multiple field staff
• Commercial resourcefulness to resolve issues at lowest economical cost
• Have the enthusiasm to work in the rapidly changing and challenging manufacturing environment and will ideally have a trade background or similar experience
• Ability to work in a calm, efficient and pro-active manner even though at times this job will be high pressured and have tight deadlines
• Must be able to multi-task and prioritise multiple jobs at the same time to ensure the smooth scheduling of our Client's field staff
• Strong Microsoft office experience including Word, Excel & Outlook as well as fast and accurate data entry
• Excellent communication skills both verbal and written along with strong problem resolution skills
• "First Impression" work ethic – always having the customer's best interest at the front of your mind with every interaction

This role will see the successful candidate working Mon-Friday, 6am – 2.30pm, however you must have the flexibility to stay back to get the days scheduling completed.

The successful candidate will need to undergo a pre-employment medical, drug and alcohol test and have a clean valid police check completed within the last 6 months.
