This company is a leading manufacturer in their industry with branches across Australia. They manufacture products such as architectural doors, frames and windows for both commercial and residential buildings. This site consists of a small team of skilled employees with an excellent working culture.
Due to sustained growth, they are looking for an experienced CNC Operator to join their team. The successful candidate will initially begin as a full time casual, working Monday-Friday 6am-2:30pm. This person will be directly employed by the company straight away. Opportunities exist for the right candidate to move into a permanent position after the successful completion of a probationary period.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Machine Operating
- Beam saws and overhead router operation
- Use of hand and power tools
- General labouring as required
Skills and experience required include:
- Previous experience working with timber (preferable but not essential)
- An ability to operate and programme CNC Machines
- Biesse works/Autocad/Woodwop experience highly desirable
While previous knowledge and experience in the timber industry is preferable, if you have strong CNC operating experience in either the steel or aluminium industries, then we also encourage you to apply if you have the right attitude to learn.
