About the role
We have an exciting opportunity for a Storeperson to work for a leading Australian business based in the South-Eastern suburbs. This strong retail brand is looking for someone with a warehousing background and current Forklift licence.
The successful candidate will initially join the company as an on-hired employee, working 38 hours per week plus over time when required. After the successful completion of a 3-6 month probationary period, opportunities exist for the right candidate to move into a permanent position.
On a daily basis, you will be loading and unloading products such as washing machines, fridges and ovens from trucks into and out of the warehouse, and operating a forklift and general warehousing duties.
Duties
- Manually loading/unloading products
- Moving and stacking products
- Flexible to complete a variety of different tasks on a daily basis
Skills and experience
- Current Forklift licence - minimum 6 months experience
- Physically fit and able to lift up to 25kgs
- Worked in a manufacturing or warehouse environment
