Our company is looking for a new warehouse/store-person to assist our business needs in the warehousing & distribution of packaged grocery products. The successful applicant will have a good prior knowledge of general warehousing duties and demonstrate an ability to manage our customers orders quickly and accurately.
Job role entails:
- 2-4 days per week depending on demand (flexibility required)
- Picking, packing and despatching customer orders.
- Receiving, checking and putting away incoming stock.
- Unpacking of containers and palletising/packing stock away.
- Periodic stocktake counts.
- Maintaining warehouse in neat and clean order.
- Arranging freight pick up with transport companies.
- Customer service experience wound be advantageous but not essential.
Minimum position requirements:
- Forklift licence
- Clear understanding of and ability to use a computer with the following software - Outlook, Excel, Google Maps.
- Experience in picking, packing and despatching of orders via multiple transport methods.
- Positive work attitude
