Turosi Food Solutions, a privately owned Company with facilities in Victoria, Brisbane and NSW, provides a full range of raw and cooked food solutions across a range of proteins to the retail and food service sectors.

We are looking to recruit an experienced Master Production Scheduler who will enjoy being part of the Supply Chain department. The role will be based at our Broadmeadows manufacturing facility in the northern suburbs of Melbourne, Victoria. The site manufacturers value added frozen meal and snack products, mainly beef and chicken.

Responsibilities of the role will include, but are not limited to:

  • Create a weekly/daily master production schedule, considering standard planning parameters such as sales forecasts, current inventory, obsolescence, lead times, product life cycles and production capacity.
  • Generate a monthly rough cut capacity plan and analyse/action subsequent data
  • Identify and implement system and process improvement initiatives within supply chain
  • Improve planning tools and procedures through innovative ideas and projects
  • Assess and report on noteworthy gaps between the sales forecast and historical data.
  • Assist with the planning process  for new product introductions, including review of new BOM’s and launch dates
  • Ongoing review of material shortages, obsolescence, stock outages, minimum/economic order quantities and safety stock levels while working with purchasing and manufacturing to meet customer requirements

In order to be considered for the position, you will have had significant experience in a supply chain/master scheduling role in a manufacturing environment, preferably in FMCG. You will have experience with complex planning, forecasting and product lifecycle programs combined with excellent communication and people management skills and a demonstrated ability to work with others while effectively handling internal pressures. Your time management, prioritisation and problem solving skills will be highly regarded.
