PLANT OPERATIONS MANAGER:
ArmorGalv is the only Thermal Diffusion Galvanizing plant in Australia and has experienced double digit growth since its inception 8 years ago.
We are looking for a high level operations leader to join our dynamic team.
The role covers all aspects of the operations including safety, factory personnel, process management, productivity, technical, maintenance and continuous improvement.
You will have demonstrated your ability to:
- Manage fast paced, complex industrial operations.
- Lead and motivate direct and in-direct reports
- Maintain plant and equipment.
- Implement Lean manufacturing principles
- Design and implement process, systems and procedures.
- Improve labour efficiencies through better manual handling techniques
Who you are:
- A proven leader, self-driven and want to succeed and own the accountability of the role
- Motivated to grow and develop yourself and your team and overall site capability
- Tertiary qualifications in Mechanical Engineering or similar.
- You have excellent mechanical aptitude to envisage and design plant and equipment improvements.
- Strong communicator
- Have strong systems / analytical skills
