About the role:

• Operate Skip and Hook Trucks with a focus on safety and customer courtesy
• Secure loads mounted on trucks with chains and straps
• Perform and record daily pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections
• Perform minor maintenance tasks on the vehicles when necessary
• Adhere to driving hour restrictions & fatigue management requirements where applicable
• Report incidents and preparing accident and incident reports as necessary

About You:

• Possess a current and valid NSW HR/HC licence
• Must have a minimum of 1-2 years solid driving experience – skip or hook truck experience an advantage
• Current and clean driving record
• Have a sound knowledge of the Melbourne metro & surrounding areas
• Superior customer service and communication skills
• Reliable, flexible, trustworthy with a positive can-do attitude
