The Opportunity?
As part of Toll Group’s new growth strategy a position has become available for a PM Operations Manager, this role will be managing the daily transportation services for the company and its customers, ensuring that the site is run economically and that the shift is run smoothly with a team that is trained to achieve the highest standards of safety and operation excellence.
Additionally you will be responsible for:
- Plan and co-ordinate the day-to-day activities of the team to ensure that work is performed safely, efficiently and in accordance with company procedures and legislation.
- Managing freight movements and storage between local and interstate hubs, company and client sites
- Successfully improving process and streamlining activities through continuous improvement and best practice process improvement
- Promoting Toll’s safety culture and following our core belief of getting people home safely
- Increase and maintain the profitability of the Business Unit by controlling day to day operating costs and maximising revenue through development of improved efficiencies.
The Ideal Candidate?
You will have relevant experience managing site operations across logistics, manufacturing, automotive or industrial. You will be required to successfully manage staff on a daily basis but also look forward and implement sustained structure and process initiatives to continually improve. This role will see you actively involved in the day to day operation of the site and work with the management team on strategic initiatives in the region.
