About the role
Our client is a global leader in the FMCG Industry whose brands and products you're likely to have in your kitchen right now. Currently, they are searching for highly skilled and experienced Machine Operators and Mixers to play a key role in their established and high performing team.
With above-award pay rates, employment would be on a Casual with the view to transfer to direct employment with our client after a 6 month period.
The availability to work Day Shift, Afternoon Shift and Night Shift is essential, including shift rotations.
Previous experience in a Food or Beverages Manufacturing environment is required, and a current Australian Forklift Licence will be preferable.
The below attributes are crucial in order for you to succeed in this role:
- Experience operating food or beverages manufacturing machinery - manual and automated;
- MUST have a high level of mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills;
- A very high level of attention-to-detail;
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills;
- The ability to work unsupervised and to take initiative;
- A positive attitude and the desire to learn;
- Strong and demonstrated teamwork skills;
- The ability to perform repetitive manual tasks and heavy lifting where required;
- A solid understanding of Food Hygiene and HACCP principles; and
- A demonstrated ability to be reliable and punctual.
