We have an outstanding opportunity for an experienced DOCK / PUD SUPERVISOR to join the team managing our logistics operations at Smithfield.
This is one of two Dock/PUD Supervisor roles and is a key morning shift role reporting directly to the AM Operations Manager.
Duties of the role will include responsibility for:
- the safe, efficient processing of daily inbound parcel/belt freight
- providing strong leadership to PUD drivers and dock staff within a busy and fast paced environment
- ensuring a professional approach to dealing with operational situations
- ensuring PUD fleet delivery performance, productivity and expenditure targets are achieved
- working closely with the AM Bulk Supervisor and AM Floor Team Leader to ensure a highly efficient AM Operations
- working closely with the Customer Service Team to ensure a high quality delivery service
- ensuring WHS and various regulatory compliance measures are met
The successful candidate must have:
- Previous experience managing drivers, fleets or other similar transport related workgroup
- Mature, professional approach to team management
- Excellent knowledge of Sydney metropolitan area
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Good planning and communication skills
- Forklift licence and intermediate computer skills
