Your Role:

As a procurement & Inventory Database Administrator (DBA) you will be responsible for purchasing of company inventory, vendor relationships and inventory master data.

This role will suit a confident go getter who understands the importance of accuracy and analytics. A person who has a willingness to learn and grow in the role. Taking pride in providing the best service possible customers and the Livetools team.

 

In this role you will be responsible for:

  • Coordination of procurement activities.
  • Working with ERP systems such as Netsuite / Jcurve.
  • Communicating and negotiating with overseas / local vendors and freight companies.
  • Managing inventory levels and demand planning.
  • Identifying slow moving or obsolete stock.
  • Documenting non-conformities.
  • Lead and manage data base maintenance.
  • Maintain integrity of the Livetools data bases by following procedures.
  • Act as the first point of contact for customer phone inquiries.
  • Provide outstanding service to customers and fellow Livetools team members.
  • Identify process improvement opportunities and lead their implementation.
  • Work autonomously without supervision.

 

The ideal candidate will have:

  • High level experience in procurement and demand planning.
  • High level experience in data base management.
  • High level experience in excel.
  • Experience and solid understanding in using ERP system such as Netsuite, Jcurve, SAP, Microsoft Dynamics, SAGE, Epicor etc.
  • Have an ability to communicate with key stake holders (vendors and Livetools team members) from diverse backgrounds at different levels within an organisation.
  • Experience in multi currency and landed costs.
  • Ability to work independently and be resourceful to solve problems
  • A commitment to customer service

  • Having a manufacturing, mechanical engineering background and or mechanical aptitude within the metal working industry
