Permanent Full Time Role
My client is a growing import and wholesale business that specialises in distributing a diverse range of outdoor cooking products. Australian owned and family run, the business is now entering an exciting new phase which sees them moving from a 3PL distribution model to managing the warehousing, distribution and logistics functions in-house. With this comes a move from their current site in Nunawading to larger premises in Dandenong South, as well as the need to add a range of exciting new positions to their existing team.
Reporting to the Warehouse/Logistics Manager, the role will be hands on and physical and include unloading of trucks and containers, put away and replenishment of stock, picking and packing of customer orders, dispatch and freight management, and other general warehouse duties. You will also have the opportunity to help prepare stock for trade and consumer shows and events, book transport and assist with set up and pack up at the events if required.
The ideal applicant will have the following skills/experience/licenses:
- Enjoy working as part of a close knit team
- Be fit and healthy
- Possess good communication skills and a customer service focus
- Have excellent attention to detail
- Strong mathematical skills
- Be reliable and punctual
- Possess a current Drivers’ license and Forklift license (LF)
- Have demonstrated a strong commitment to OH&S
The position is offered on a full time permanent basis, working Monday to Friday, and a competitive salary will be offered to the successful candidate.
