The Role
As the warehouse supervisor, you will report directly to the warehouse manager. Your overall objective is to effectively manage the warehouse in order to meet the company’s and the customers service requirements.
Some of the below responsibilities are:
- Supervision of warehouse personnel and the efficient operation of the warehouse function
- To ensure compliance to Australian Customs and relevant Government Bodies regulations
- To supervise and co-ordinate the collection and delivery of goods
- To supervise the unloading, checking, positioning and reporting of goods into the warehouse
- Performance appraisal of staff
- To ensure regular servicing and maintenance of warehouse equipment and vehicles
- To ensure the warehouse is clean, tidy and is a safe working environment
- Responsible for inspecting freight received or dispatched to the consignee/shipper
- Responsible for ensuring that the movement of material in and out of the warehouse is controlled and documented
Requirements for the Role

We are looking for someone to join this team with a like for like attitude and desire to work with us to develop a successful career within the organization long term. It's essential you have at least 3 - 4 years' experience in Warehousing and experience in Supervising a team.
- 3 - 4 years in Warehousing is required
- Experience in Supervising a team is required
- It's desirable you have worked in Freight Forwarding - Air Freight Imports Exports, Sea Freight Imports Exports
- Safety and Compliance Training and Awareness
- A proactive "can do" attitude
- Integrity and strong work ethic
- Ability to communicate effectively both written and verbal
